Meditation journey…

Practice, practice practice….is the important phrase in meditation. To understand deeply the meaning of it its necessary to follow the advice. Of course different people start to practice  meditation because of different aims. The aims can be following:

  • learn to relax
  • understand yourself better
  • learn to control your mind / emotions
  • as a stress resolver
  • curiosity
  • enlightenment

Just to name only few. There is almost in every culture a kind of meditation practice in very big variation of depth and or needs of the difference of humans. But I can say in around 30 years of my meditation journey  in comparison there are mainly three levels of in almost all mediation practice.

  1. the relax level
  2. self understanding level
  3. be one with God, Goddess, Buddha, Allah, Manitu, Cosmos or the one and so on

So many humans with so many different needs thats why are so many several meditation arts existing. The motivation to bring individual needs into action can be quite varied.  A friend was telling you about, you read a book or journal where mediation gets explained for what it is good for.  If you start to search for a meditation seminar to learn it or looking for schools or master to practice it then you can actually say the friend or the book / journal is/ was your first spirituell guide. The friend or the book or journal writer was opening a new way to live or act the world and or looking behind the mind limitation. Opening ones spirituell path is a like to create a good karma for yourself. Bring humans to a deeper understanding by experience not by thinking only is quite a high level good action. My first spirituell guide was Herman Hesse with the book „Siddhartha“. Once in while I take it this 30 year old book who is yellowish by age already with coffee and food spots on it smelling like historical looking at it and saying by heart thank you.

Do you remember when and or because of what  your spirituell interests or journey was starting ? Would be interesting to read or hear your comments about…..

Soon some practical tips will written by me, so stay tuned …..

Winter retreat….

Because we don´t living with the nature we lost the rhythm of it. In all area we got for example the same or similar temperature regulated by heater or air con. This makes us feel of comfortable but also we are losing the sensitivity for the real energetic nature action. We wearing wrong clothes eating wrong food or drinks. Of course we are realizing the early sunset in Winter but the lights everywhere let us easily forget about it. The few hours of sunlight is showing us actually the action time during winter. You see its quite short. But we have to follow of course working hours rhythm in a tact of society.

Winterramntik

Thats why we have to take care more about us in the not working hours. In Winter at least 1h or better 2h earlier to bed. This is for recharging the battery, whats our Kidneys. Winter time Kidney time very important to understand. Anyway each night the Qi (vital -energy) get stored in the Kidney for a later use. In Wintertime the storing is special powerful like I said already its the time of water-element means Kidney / Bladder. Like in hole nature the stored Qi is waiting for the next start ready for the autumn when the active action is starting again.

Avoid following winter mistakes:

  • less sleep
  • eating tropical fruits
  • drinking green tea
  • working overtime
  • cold feeds
  • not to go for a walk
  • cold drinks
  • to much action
  • night clubbing

Cheers with hot wine punch….for a good storage

green, white ,red and black tea ?

After some explanations of green/ white tea now some information about black tea. Black tea is the one who get drunk most around the world. By contrast to green, white  one the black is fully fermented. In the west it refers black because of its color oxidised leaves. In the east some call it also „red tea“ because of the reddish colored liquid. One the most well known or famous black tea is Puh Erh Tea from Yunnan Province in south west China. They even get routes named „Tea horse Road“(cha ma dao) where tea caravans where transporting the tea from Yunnan province via Beijing or Tibet. Because of the long transport the tea get fermented and formed into bricks, disks or nests. The storage during the caravan transport was much easier then. So we can say the Puh Erh/ Pu Er was a by product of the „Tea Horse Road“ by itself. Because of these the tea has become a quite new flavor. It has created a specific kind of ‘black’tea, called hei cha.

An other well known black / red tea is the half fermented famous Oolong (black dragon)tea. From that tea the british took plants from Fujian province and brought it to India were it flourished and it became the famous Darjeeling tea.

About Chinese Tea

Following the ancient wisdom of Chinese philosophy you should assimilate your intake according to the seasons. In the case of tea you should know which one is the best for which season. There are teas who are more cooling aspects and teas with warming aspects.

To understand it better its good to have an idea which sort of tea is available and which differences are between.

Actually their are three main types of  tea:

  • green tea (included white one)
  • red tea (half fermented)
  • black tea (full fermented)

Green Tea is called Lu Cha and its undergone only a little oxidation. It is getting collected in spring time. In spring the tea leaves are still very young and is given the best taste. Soon after picking the leaves undergoing a quick heat applying. This process reducing about 70% of the water the last 30% getting air tried. This is the best method to keep the natural taste. Green tea by itself has cooling aspect so the best time of course would be the summer to drink.

chinese teasRed tea are the teas who are undergoing a half fermentation or better said oxidation process. This process is to make the tea encyme and its ingredients working better. Because of this process the color of the tea leaves gonna change into dark. Depend on the tea the degree of oxidation can have between 5 % – 80%. The most popular „red teas“ are Oolong tea or Puh Erh tea. The category „red tea“ is a just because of its reddish color after preparation and it is actually not really a own tea category.  In China the family tea group get called Qing Cha. This tea is called energetic neutral and can be drunk the hole seasons.

Explanation about the black tea soon.

still talks about autumn…

If we want look deeper at the energy aspect of autumn we just have to observe how the nature is doing at that season. The three month of autumn also called time of collection and adjustment. The Qi of heaven is pressure and the Qi of earth is gorgeous. Autumn is the time of crop.

The Chinese character of autumn shows:  growing grain and fire

chine.Herbst_s

The meaning is under the summer heat the grains are mature and after crop the Chinese were burning the left stubble field.

Following advices are written in Su Wen a part of Huang Di Neijing the „Yellow emperor´s classics of medicine“:

  • Go early sleep and stand up early, you should follow the cock action
  • Gather the mind and calm down the Qi to balance the bear of autumn
  • leave your will in peace and in calmness

This is the right action you should take in accord to autumn for storing and collecting your Qi.

More collection of autumn wisdom is coming soon…
